It's been supported via this list and direct mail a lot more recently
than that.

Funny, I thought it was released by Active, which *does* still exist.

He got paid for it, he released a non-Y2K version in 1999, why
shouldn't he do an NC2 compile of 1.4.4? It'sa not as thought it's going
to kill sales of NC3, people are buying that for V3 et al, not a minor
update to MD-II.

Again, it was supported.
