Yep, I expect you're right. I don't know much about producing CDs so
I thought that the gold ones would have been produced in a little
batch or summat (and therefore all contain the same faults), but I can
see your point.

Yep, being a bit thick there I'll admit. I forgot about the 'works
with vapor version' thing. Although there a quite a few NC2 updates on
the Active website which need preserving. And it still doesn't change
the fact that the users are entitled to a CD which works fully without
needing these downloads at all (which was supposed to be my main point
and if I'd stuck to it I wouldn't have to make excuses for people who
stay up reading their mail too late ;))
