Well that sounds decidedly dodgy to me. Why would they want to keep
it, and secondly where are the others. I know of at least one other
gold copy which was made (without naming names and getting grief). And
I'm pretty sure you're entire future in the Amiga business didn't rely
(in theory) on one CD of several months/years work.

But isn't that legally Active's responsibility to do, in order to
provide what they promised to their customers? Unless you can claim
you went bankrupt, of course (that would shut everyone up!)

I would expect them to pay for any losses incurred to your business.

No, but they will at least have a basic /working/ setup which they can
resort to at any time they need. I assume the Active website will be
disappearing before long? What then if we need the updates again?
