Certainly.  When you get into Net-Tamer's terminal, hit F3, then pick
the one that talks about setting up the terminal.  When you get there,
hit G, and it'll allow you to edit the init. string.  However, if you
want to disable that feature on your modem permanently, hit the sequence
that toggles you to terminal mode (Alt-equal, I think), and type in
ATM0&W and hit [Enter], and you'll never hear the speaker again.  :-)
Well, you can change it back at any time by going into terminal and
typing ATMx, where "x" is the value for M (usually 1), as a temporary
fix, or ATMx&W to change it permanently again.  There are only so many
times you can &W your modem, though, before it will quit registering
permanent changes, but that number is in the thousands.  Hope this
