Karen, there's a file or should be a file called nettamer.vid in your
nettamer directory.  It's a short file containing a hex address for where
nettamer thinks your monitor dedicated memory starts on your computer.  If
it's incorrect; corrupted, or missing you get the error 5.  You might try
running reader.exe and then exit out and then try running nettamer to see if
that corrects that problem.  You should have either B0000 or B0700 in
nettamer.vid.  Anything else and it's corrupt.  You could try editing that
file putting each value in and try to read your email to see if that clears
the problem too.
