actually let me ask something here, if this were the problem, would not it
bother well other things?
i can read my e-mail, and can sort other cmail.dlu files in my other setups
with no problem.  it is only this one file.
so, how would nt.vid, which i know of and it is the same as before, have
been disturbed?
