Here is the latest initiative from Govt of Kerala. Quotations are invited specifically for Free Software based ERP solutions for Kerala Medical Services Corporation Ltd, Kerala.
http://www.kmscl.kerala.gov.in/ Please give wide publicity for this to enable those organisations providing services on Free Software platforms can take part in the tender process. Pre-Tender meeting is fixed on 25-01-2011 (Non-participation in this meeting is not a bar for submission of tender.) But better to participate in it. Last date of tender is 05-02-2011. No turn over criteria. Only experience and other evaluation criteria are included as the condition of the tender. Free Software platforms and tools are insisted. Transfer of right of ownership under GPL or equivalent is sought. Please take note of it to take part in the tender process.
