Sorry, what is this "dependency hell" you speak of? I've been using apt- and rpm- based distros for years and haven't experienced dependency hell in a very long time. Even on Cooker, even compiling (small, admittedly) stuff on the side, even trying. And what I've seen I've seen it too with debian: "After the upgrade, 400 packages will be removed, continue? Y / N / etc.". Paraphrased. C'mon, I've been using repositories for a long time, it's a FAQ, it's easy to do, and it's done exactly in the same way in every modern distro, independently of the packaging system. If you really want to break a system, you can do it, but it's not that easy anymore. -- Adriano Varoli Piazza The Inside Out: http://moranar.com.ar ICQ: 4410132 MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
