I won't argue whether or not Ethanol is a superior fuel. My point is that to get the bang from ethanol you need to design the engine with ethanol in mind. Running ethanol in a gasoline engine is, in my opinion, stupid. At the same token, running gasoline in an ethanol engine wouldn't be ideal.
