Several of us have sprung for an aftermarket centerstand, and I can tell you it's probably the best investment you can make in terms of convenience and easy maintenance.
Especially oil changes and chain clean/lube. Best deal available is Monmouth Cycles at: http://www.monmouthcycles.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=124279&category=MOTORCYCLES&make=HONDA&year=1992&fveh=2966 $111+s/h = $128 and change. Google "motorcycle chain lube" and you'll find an endless number of reviews of brands of the stuff. Chances are good what you're using is fine. Ditto gas. Regular unleaded works for me. But everyone has a favorite (and an argument/theory to back up their choice!). Can't help much with the sissy bar bag query. I just bought an aftermarket set up that came with a regular Corbin-style passenger back rest with no bag. I haven't installed it yet and I plan to modify the back rest portion to allow a sleeve-type bag to slip down over the sissy bar and rest on the luggage rack. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
