You misunderstand. I didn't say those bikes were unattractive. I said MINE was. It was painted out of a can, and being new or old and clumsy, I spilled gas numerous times and the tank is "bald" of paint over a large area. It was pretty beat up when i got it. No esthetic issues with those bikes if they're in better shape than mine.
Don't get me wrong, i really enjoy that bike, just wish it was a little better "dressed".
