Pat,
I pulled the ignition this weekend and checked with keysbycode.com who told
me the code on my ignition (also on the inside of the gas cap) didn't turn
up as valid in their system. I'll try calling a local locksmith tomorrow
though. Is the code on your 83 a 6 digit code? Mine is 1WH###

That's what I'm afraid of. I think I'll see if the seals hold pressure for
now, and if they do get the bike up and running and replace the forks when
I can after a month or something. My wife is getting antsy about how much
I've spent on this project already. I think it'll be easier to get her
onboard for spending some more once it's running, and especially driving.
