Irreparable: adjective. not reparable; incapable of being rectified, remedied, or made good:
Irreparable damage to a Nighthawk? By operating a clutch lever? Don’t think so! Perhaps “not economically feasible”, or “dam, it’ll take a bunch of work to fix that!” or “OH, Sh}t!!!!!”, Maybe if ran over by a train............... But it is amazing what $$$$ and TLC can do. Yea come to think of it, that's what it feels like. If I feather the clutch lever a little I can feel it catch. Can this cause irreparable damage? This is on a 650? You should bleed both calipers, each in turn. On the 650, there should be a bleed valve on the left side of the bike, on a cylinder shaped thing just above the engine case. You are correct, there is a clutch master cylinder and it is on the handlebars, you bleed the clutch much the same way you bleed the brakes. -Kurt On Fri, Aug 24, 2012 at 11:41 PM, Gibs <[email protected]> wrote: So I just changed it... I hope I did it right, it works answer it's a more responsive I think. I only drained it from one caliper though, is it supposed to work like that? Also I looked in the clutch master cylinder (or wtvr the lil box next to the clutch is called) and its all brown and not clear, how do I change that? I took it out to test the brakes and make sure it runs normal, and found the shifting got really weird and all of a sudden it's hard to shift down. I also started hear a sort of rattling noise as it revs around 3k rpm or more :-( what's going on?? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
