I rode a NH 650 around for a couple of months with a stud missing and a little bit of exhaust leak. It was always noticeable but never did any harm. If I can't get the stud out of the one I am now working on I'll minimize the leakage as much as possible and then not worry about it. I haven't tried the new tool yet. I have to drop the exhausts first, maybe tomorrow, Graham
