He hasn't mapped his route yet, and part of that has to do with what the weather will be like while he's traveling. He's thinking of going to SoCal then across the southern part of Nevada, into Arizona and up to the Grand Canyon. Then Colorado if it's not snowing, New Mexico if it is, etc. His timeline is flexible, but he's planning for a couple of weeks, at least. It's a one way trip, so that helps.
