Brent, I have about 25 buckets myself and they are broken out in fine grain fashion like you are talking about. For example I have Utility:Telephone, Utility:Electric, Utility:Satellite, Utility:Cell Phone, Utility:Water, Lunch:Craig, Lunch:Tracy, Lunch:School. I'm like you in the way I really like to see where every penny is going. I even have separate buckets for each car loan and a bucket for fuel. I keep them in alphabetical order to make it easier to find each bucket.
As for the "Best Way"...
