Hi [~cnauroth],
As you mentioned, it seems inconsistent to say that the fuse, snappy, and
openssl dependencies are required to get a full test-patch build, but ISAL is
not. If people are running test-patch locally, it is probably because they
want to predict what the results of a jenkins run would be. It seems like if
we skip all the ISAL unit tests, then test-patch doesn't really accomplish this
objective.
I agree that it is always awkward to add a new dependency. This is really an
infrastructure deficiency on our part: Maven automatically retrieves Java
dependencies, but not native ones. In my opinion, we should fix that root
problem, rather than doing partial builds in Yetus. What do you think?
