Well I do just the opposite, I RDP into my servers, download updates from my workstation to a common folder and access it from there. While we CAN plug the monitor into any server in the server room (we have one of those 25ft VGA cables and a wireless KB & M we can plug the USB dongle into) we rarely do it as room is small and the noise is not conducive to good focus.
