Well I do just the opposite, I RDP into my servers, download updates from my
workstation to a common folder and access it from there. While we CAN plug the
monitor into any server in the server room (we have one of those 25ft VGA
cables and a wireless KB & M we can plug the USB dongle into) we rarely do it
as room is small and the noise is not conducive to good focus.

I have the bad habit of running to my server room, and using the server to
download some update that is needed. When I'm in the server room, there is no
workstation for me, just the servers.

So, should I RDP back to my desktop, download the file, then move it back to
the server? If this is the suggested practice, it is a little... odd. Sm:)e.
