I am relatively certain the only important thing is that you will have to run the executable from a 64bit machine. The changes that the code makes to AD shouldn't have anything to do with the version. In other words, the only difference between the adprep executable on the 32bit version vs the 64bit version, is that one is compiled for 32bit systems and the other is compiled for 64bit systems.
