Good point, and although 'compatibility' isn't synonymous with MicroSoft, I'd bet a beer that the adprep executables are 32bit so they can be run on any existing schema master .... The changes that the code makes to AD shouldn't have anything to do with the version. Check for the highest numbered schxx.ldf file on the media with the diskprep... I'll find mine on the 32bit version media, and I'll bet they're the same ... I seriously doubt the schema is 32 bit or 64 bit dependent ...
