Good point, and although 'compatibility' isn't synonymous with MicroSoft,
I'd bet a beer that the adprep executables are 32bit so they can be run on
any existing schema master ....

I am relatively certain the only important thing is that you will have to
run the executable from a 64bit machine.  The changes that the code makes to
AD shouldn't have anything to do with the version.  In other words, the only
difference between the adprep executable on the 32bit version vs the 64bit
version, is that one is compiled for 32bit systems and the other is compiled
for 64bit systems.

I can't say for 100% but I'd think not .... since you can mix 64 bit and 32
bit servers, as long as they have the same AD version ....  Check for the
highest numbered schxx.ldf file on the media with the diskprep... I'll find
mine on the 32bit version media, and I'll bet they're the same ... I
seriously doubt the schema is 32 bit or 64 bit dependent ...
