I've been following the debates with interest : currently we are with OAR, and
the only reason is that our property is almost impossible to access without a
key to our front gate (you either must be prepared to climb over the roofs of
our neighbours or scale some very high walls).

OAR seem to be the only company prepared to keep a key which allows them to
enter the property (garden), and investigate. The other companies can basically
look at my front gate and say everything looks OK (as I don't see their guards
climbing over roofs or scaling 4m high walls).

Any suggestions on how one could deal with this situation if we did want to
switch to another service provider ?

Lay a charge of theft/fraud, this is not the 1st time they have done this.
