Yesterday evening ONW foot patrol heard the noise at around 18:00 from Disa Road.
We could hear it right through Drake, Collingwood, Howe, Speke to Lower Scott Road but could not locate the source. Last night I woke up around 03:00 and could hear it for the first time in Oxford Road near Station Road. An irritating sound indeed - personally I'm still thinking that its a cyclone, could be waste cyclone or one used by the mill.
