   Speaking entirely from personal experience John Beck is a very
   fine individual and an extremely collaborative/cooperative person
   to work with. What I can gather from this is that there are reasons
   beyond his control and that he is just a messenger who is bound
   by his constraints at his job. You are probably just shooting the
   messenger which does not help at all.
