Ugh...Rules ARE content. Do you think Robin Law's FENG SHUI would have been better if he'd just slapped Secret Wars onto the D20 system? What extra content would he have given us that could have made up for the beautiful elegance of the shot system of initiative and the named/unnamed dichotomy of NPCs? I just think you are plain wrong, and if this is the 'gain' from the D20 movement... ugh.

And we're supposed to celebrate that D20 will become the de facto for CRPGs, too? Good lord... not on my watch. No way.

Well, this will be my last message. I don't want to be the troll on a list where people who obviously have thought things through but come to very different conclusions than I have. :(
