[Open_Gaming] Clarification of status of D20 SRD needed...

OK, I may or may not have come off as rather an idiot on Usenet, surely not
for the first or last time, but I do wish to know for sure. The
conversation went like this:

Random poster:For all we know, WOTC will NEVER release anything under the OGL!
Lizard:Ha ha, foolish mortal! Look at
http://www.opengamingfoundation.org/d20.html! I says the D20 SRD is
released under the (now final) OGL!
Other Poster:Uhm, Lizard, is ALSO says the D20 SRD remains copyright to
WOTC and has not yet been released.

So, which is it?
