er, WotC wasn't an adopter--and they've opened far more original IP than anyone else. :) As for GreenRonin and Atlas--neither of them was headed by a lawyer, or backed by White Wolf. I suspect if they had a lawyer on staff or the resources that Clark had to do CC1, they might very well have closed a little bit more. Still, it's results that matter, not "what ifs"--and both GreenRonin and Atlas have very hefty brownie points for early openness.
