i'd argue that what is Open and not *is* completely clear (barring poor designations), as far as the WotC OGL is concerned. what is not clear is what stuff is reusable desptie not being open, i.e., under normal copyright law. which is pretty much what this whole argument is about. the D20SRD doesn't include monster descriptions, so there's no way to access them via the WotC OGL. but the MM does, so, can they be legally accessed, and, if so, to what degree, through "normal" copyright channels? -- woodelf <*> [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://webpages.charter.net/woodelph/ If any religion is right, maybe they all have to be right.
