Anyways the 'vague bugginess' I mentioned was during scenes with several NPCs all running around trying to trigger scripts that immediately triggered battles, and were supposed to destroy the NPC if you won, but sometimes the NPC would remain present, or so it seemed to me. I don't remember too well now, to be honest.
