Well, considering the difficulties getting sponsors, now still after like
two years, that should say something..

No campaign is better than a poor campaign, and as far I've seen, there's
not been much to be excited about related to, hence I cannot anticipate it
bringing in even the slightest fragment of what goal going for, more likely
bad PR and crushing of motivation, which would make no campaign a better
choice and rather postpone it untill we have anything worthwhile..

Personally I've stayed mostly out of participating in these discussions for
reasons I still consider unresolved and for which FOSDEM would hopefully be
a nice place to try resolve these issues.
I know that more than just myself is quite upset and frustrated over
political/organizational prospects of this project, and have been for long,
so resolving these should really be a first priority..

Once resolved, I will start take a fully active role in the project again,
participate and contribute to this matters, but untill then, I'll refrain
myself to constructive critic in an efforts of harm reduction...
