The write up actually never mentions incest at all. In references inbreeding twice but that does not necessarily mean incest. In some countries it is still legal to marry a first cousin. Do that over several generations and you will get birth defects from inbreeding but it is not considered incest.
Now there is a lot of incest in the family (half of my PC's kids are with her brother) but like Greg said, I do not think there is a father/daughter relationship out there yet. Also, not all sexual encounters need be consensual. Other members of this list can tell you about the news articles I occasionally forward where a father and daughter get it on. Sometimes thats because the father is a freaking loon who locked his daughter in the basement and raped her. I would like to see more cousins hooking up to be honest. There are way too many of us brother/sister combos out there. People might start to think we are weird or something. :) The write up says that in modern nights more Sangiovanni are leaving Venice and heading out into the world. So family in America (or the British colony it was at the time) in the mid 1600s would be a little far fetched. A younger character that would be doable for. Also on the note of age, the eldest family member (NPC) will be turning 410 next year so there is not a lot of room in the 350+ age bracket. For a kindred to be that old and to not have activated the bloodline it would be very very unusual and there would be a lot of suspicion and questions asked. There are currently 9 PCs (over three generations) who were born before 1650 so odds are we would all know each other very well. I also think we need more LS in the family. We are probably almost equal with LS and Crone and the Crone are suppose to be the minority of the two. We also have two family members who are Archbishops and I believe two who are Bishops. A few more (and a possible promotion to Cardinal in the future) and the family could really start to have some power in the LS.
