The discussion is not irrelevant. It's just premature. There a hell of a lot of work to do, and I see energy that could be redirected to more immediate needs. > > > And are we sure that a graphics chip is the best thing to do after > > OGD1? This is my favorite. I'm also interested in wifi and embedded CPUs. Don't forget video capture and compression. An MPEG codec would be sweet. Getting ADCs that work in the GHz range might be tough, though. > If these or other ideas generate too much traffic, they should probably move > to the Open Hardware list, allowing the OPG list to stay mostly focused on > OGD1. Honestly, it's not the volume or topic that bothers me. In this thread, there have only been like 32 posts so far, although that did happen in a 3-day period, so maybe it is a lot. I'm not sure. -- Timothy Normand Miller http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~millerti Open Graphics Project _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
