The discussion is not irrelevant.  It's just premature.  There a hell
of a lot of work to do, and I see energy that could be redirected to
more immediate needs.

This is my favorite.  I'm also interested in wifi and embedded CPUs.
Don't forget video capture and compression.  An MPEG codec would be
sweet.  Theora too.

A scope would be nice!  Getting ADCs that work in the GHz range might
be tough, though.

Honestly, it's not the volume or topic that bothers me.  In this
thread, there have only been like 32 posts so far, although that did
happen in a 3-day period, so maybe it is a lot.  I'm not sure.
