Good afternoon - This is an excellent discussion. We do need to be careful not to develop separate groups while at the same time facilitating discussion in whatever language each of us speaks.
I'm with Scott. I receive notifications for bug reports and scan them to see if they contain anything pertinent to circulation. If I don't understand what the report is describing, if it says something about child scope and bare primitives, I delete the email and move on. I divide my time between being lead manager at a branch and coordinating circulation for our ten branch district. Understanding and implementing Evergreen for circ staff is my responsibility. I have to be able to understand what is going on well enough to translate it for our circ staff and my boss. Since posting my first email about "discouraged," I have learned that one of my showstoppers has been fixed with 3.0.3. We in Missouri just don't have that upgrade yet. I also learned of a work-around for Dymo printers. We tried it and it didn't work for us but, still----it was neighbor helping neighbor. Thank you.
