1. Are the disks really unusable? What happens when you do 'dd if=/dev/
sdh of=/dev/null count=1' ?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# dd if=/dev/sdh of=/dev/null count=1

# Initially for 5-7 minutes, terminal was completely hanged.i had to
close that session.
# "fdisk -l" was also hanged.
# Later,i got following output.Meaning disks are really
unusable...Right?

dd: reading `/dev/sdh': Input/output error
0+0 records in
0+0 records out
0 bytes (0 B) copied, 0.004593 seconds, 0.0 kB/s

2. Tried

    # echo 82400 > /sys/block/sdh/device/timeout

doesn't solved the problem of persistent connection.

queue_if_no_path or "no_path_retry queue""................yet to try.
