Alain: We must avoid licencing problems. What are they
in this case?

Michael Fair: Reimplementing the whole thing does not
sound like an inviting proposition, so I do not balme
one bit.

Alain: Can we safely use GCC now, then switch later?

Michael Fair: In fact, I am very much for putting this
kind of development on hold for right now, as long as
we design and plan for it in the future.
