Using the GCC underlying architecture will create licensing
problems unless we reimplement the whole shebang.

Reimplementing the whole thing does not sound like an
inviting proposition, so I do not balme one bit.

In fact, I am very much for putting this kind of development
on hole for right now, as long as we design and plan for
it in the future.
