There is an OpenSolaris distro called "Belenix" and I have heard rumors that it can read and write to NTFS file systems much like the newer versions of Red Hat Fedora can. It also can apparently read and write to ext3, ext2, FAT and ZFS partitions. Give it a try from these links:
http://www.belenix.org/ and this http://thermalnoise.wordpress.com/2006/09/24/belenix-on-a-usb/ also check this out http://blogs.sun.com/moinakg/entry/mount_and_access_ntfs_and and tell me what you think. I guess just because the parent OpenSolaris Indiana distro that I use doesn't have a feature doesn't mean that the feature isn't already available in one of the child distros like Belenix, Milax, Nexenta, etc. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
