You can also mount those Windows XP and Windows Vista NTFS partitions for free if you're willing to jump through a few hoops by using Sun's open-source VirtualBox solution like this:

However, Virtualbox is free and it is open source, so if you want more features in it, feel free to write the code and add them yourself ;-) As you can see, the only limit here is your own imagination and how much you enjoy or don't enjoy tinkering around with a real System V based Unix operating system that probably has the best file system and best observability tools of any operating system ever. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
