OpenOffice.org Challenges:

1) Learning Curve (kinda steep for newbies)
2) Non-intuitive interface (compared to the latest m$ edition), hard to
navigate for newbies
3) Compatibility (we have to take it at point blank that most of the file is
in m$ format). thus making people goes berserk when all those format
lari..especially when doing presentation

--> unlesss there is some highly significant advantage towards using OOo,
apart from the normal 'FREE' and 'Open' words, which the end-user rarely
cares about, people will at the end rollback to m$. if they cannot use, they
will lari.

--> I'm speaking based on small experience of some project, and inviting
(expecting) some flames.

--> if we are introducing Open Source stuffs to g33x, that's fine, but we
are living in the real world, where normal people don't really understand
the difference between command prompt and terminal

Thus, humbly i do think,
--> there's a need to revamp the navigational interface
--> there's a need for proper training ecosystem

AZMI
