I just tried this with current SVN and osgviewerMFC exits normally for me. What version of OSG are you using? You say the process still appears in Task Manager. Did you try running this under the debugger? If so, does the debugger still indicate the application is active after you exit? If so, interrupt the process with the debugger and tell us what it's doing. -Paul
