Another problem about osgviewerMFC in OSG2.0:
Even the release version of osgviewerMFC can exits normally after closing the
main frame window, when I close only a view of a scene, since the osgviewer MFC
is a MDI application, it seems that the memory used by the view can not be
released. This can be seen in Windows Task Manager, when open a scene, hence
creating a new view, the memory usage increase, however, when close the view,
the memory usage does not decrease.

I use OSG2.0.
I am sorry that I had only test debug configuration of osgviewerMFC before I
sent the last mail. I have test the release version just now, and found that
the release version can exits normally, just need to launch it from Windows
Explorer, not from VS2005 IDE (F5 command).
However, the debug version still can not exits normally, whether being
launched from Explorer or VS2005 IDE (F5 command).
Yes, I run the application under the debugger, when I close the application,
the debugger can not return of itself, and the application is still in Task
Manager list. When I stop debugging by Shift+F5 command, the debugger returns.

I just tried this with current SVN and osgviewerMFC exits normally for me.
What version of OSG are you using?
You say the process still appears in Task Manager. Did you try running this
under the debugger? If so, does the debugger still indicate the application is
active after you exit? If so, interrupt the process with the debugger and tell
us what it's doing.

Add also, the osg:: application of same scene runs more slowly on
the MFC than on the win32 APIs, especially in the occasions of GL_BLEND on,
texture on in a HUD node.

Hi All,
I am a freshman in OSG. I have build and run osgviewerMFC successfully
with VS2005 under WinXP, but when I close the application, the process still
exists in Windows Task Manager and the memory used by the viewer can not be
released.
Anyone can give me some help? Thanks.
