I have managed to configure it on Linux, but when compiling, it tries to link the plugins in strange place: $ make - -- Configuring done - -- Generating done - -- Build files have been written to: /media/backup/osg/osgearth [ 55%] Built target osgEarth Linking CXX shared module //osgdb_earth.so /usr/bin/ld: cannot open output file //osgdb_earth.so: Permission denied collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [/osgdb_earth.so] Error 1 make[1]: *** [src/osgPlugins/earth/CMakeFiles/osgdb_earth.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 It is not supposed to put anything in the root directory. Is there an environment variable or something to configure to tell it where to put these libraries?
