Not  only  that,  <smile>  Medicare  rules  state  that  OT be medically
necessary. Medical necessity means that the skills of an OT are REQUIRED
and  that  there is a expectation that the patient will make SIGNIFICANT
progress towards their goals within a REASONABLE time frame.

How  much skill is required to do cones and pegs? How many patients have
little ability to make significant progress towards their goals?
