I would rather attend a birth with the woman in the birth stool any day.

Wonderful, Judy. My point exactly (though I said it rather vaguely/sarcastically). The major complaint will be the inaccessibility of the woman’s vagina for all the examinations/procedures, etc. But that would all depend on the childbirth professional’s personal philosophies of birth, wouldn’t it? What you see as comfortable, others will see as a game of Twister... Bring on the birth stools – they may be a positive way to reduce c/sections!
