I'll tell you one thing this discussion has brought to mind, and that is
that all hospitals that have birth stools should also investigate a stool
(like the ones described) for the Midwife/Doctor to use if necessary,
shouldn't they? Whatever it takes to allow freedom of movement to the
mother, and prevent sore knees/backs, etc, of the staff.
