I just love this
conversation... I recently completed
the hypnobirthing course and found to my delight that the practitioner didn't do
very much,it was mostly daily practice for the woman and/or her partner. I
watched my daughter birth her three babies in such a state of mind(remember her?
4.2kg;4.8kg & 5.3kg)She hadn't done any hypnobirthing & neither had I at
that stage, but she prayed and went into her own trance-like state. It was
completely spontaneous. My observation was that it allowed the cascade
of natural homones and endorphins to work. As Jodie says it helps women
have a comfortable birth...much better than I.M narcotics and
epidurals. cheers, MM
