Agreed.  As onerous as the terms are, I don't think Palm is out to get
us.  Rather, they need legal recourse just in case.  And considering who
their major competitor is, I suppose the lawyers are paranoid (and are
paid to be).

I am grateful for the "doers" at Palm.  If it weren't for them, the Palm
OS source code wouldn't even be available.  While the Debug ROMs were
once relatively easy to obtain, it seems they've moved Palm resources
under one umbrella policy.  It's better that way; I'd rather not fill
out different forms for different resources.
