>From an old MetroPUG (www.metropug.org) poll (sorry for the lack of
formatting):

Palm Pro and earlier, 1, 1.67 %
B&W Palm III or IBM series, 11, 18.33 %
Palm IIIc, 7, 11.67 %
Palm V or IBM c3, 3, 5.00 %
Palm Vx, 14, 23.33 %
Palm VII, 3, 5.00 %
Visor, 19, 31.67 %
TRGpro, 2, 3.33 %
Symbol, 0, 0 %
Other, 0, 0 %
TOTAL, 60, 100.00 %

Of course user groups tend to be power users so it's not surprising only 1
reported using a Palm Pro and earlier.

My baseline is OS 3.0. For my own product, I've had only 1 inquiry to
support OS 2.0. There's no way of determining how many people ignored my
product because I didn't support OS 2.0, but based on this data, I don't
think it was a significant number.
