John,
If your goals are to sell more copies of the shareware then keep the price
at $10 or less. We have found that as soon as you go above $10 - even to
$12 - people aren't as willing to pay for the full version or to register
it, depending on your model. Of course, it all depends on how "valuable" the
product is itself. The time it took to develop is a pretty good gauge to
use. Color games can go for a little more as well.
