Steve,

An example is the HP laptop which is my primary computer since my
desktop machine died a short time ago. It came with Vista Home Premium
(and a whole bunch of extra unwanted crap) already installed, and gave
me the opportunity to burn a "recovery disc" DVD.

Once and only once.

It won't install on any other machine.
